Functionalized oils:

consists in incorporating to the natural base (single, blended cross-linked vegetable oils) functional groups like hydroxide, epoxy, keto, furanoïd or chemicals such as P, N, S, ...

​

Beside the friction modification and adhesion to the surfaces, we want to bring additionnal benefits to the use of oils such as:

  • anti-wear to prevent surfaces damages,

  • further oxydation stability,

  • increased thermal stability

​

For any project, our challenge will be to find a natural source for these functionalities.
